Inspired by my grandmother's original bag from the 1920s, I crocheted this adorable bag with that flavor. The crochet stitch forms overlapping edges reminiscent of feathers. It reminds me of the 1920s dresses with rows of beads to catch the movement of the wearer.
Fully lined with two interior pockets, bag is suspended with a bright silver-colored metal frame and matching, detachable 122 cm (48 in.) chain. The closure is called a kiss-closure or a clamshell closure.
