A must for militaria or hunting collectors this rare and unusual reproduction of a French 17th century powder horn is an unusual addition to any collection. Doughnut shaped with faux carved staghorn figures on both sides of the doughnut shaped form, with chain and spring loaded filler. The original was in the William Ashby collection.
Measures: 4.26" side to side - 5" high at top of filler - 11" from top of chain to bottom - 1.5" thick - great overall condition - mid-century repro of rare French form that was part of the William Ashby collection of militaria. No makers ID
