Frosty white sea glass and aqua blue chalcedony combined into one pendant. Set in a hand made sterling silver bezel setting. This comes with a 24" order sterling silver chain, but feel free to message me about other available lengths. The sea glass was hand picked by me from the shores of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. This is genuine sea glass and is used as found. I do not tumble, polish or grind any of my glass.

This necklace comes on a jewelry card. Gift wrapping is available upon request.

What is sea glass? It's glass that has made it's way into the ocean. It has been soaking and tumbling in the salt water. The once shiny and sharp glass is pounded on the sand and rocks in the surf. The salt water causes the soda & lime used to make the glass to slowly leach out. It takes 10-15 years of tumbling in the ocean or more, but the result is a perfectly frosted piece of glass with no shiny or sharp edges. What was once trash, is now truly a treasure to be cherished. It is a joy to create something so beautiful with my finds and share them for a one of a kind hand made gift.

Considered a nurturing stone, Chalcedony absorbs negative energy and dissipates it before it can be passed on. It promotes brotherhood and good will, opening the mind to new ideas, instilling feelings of benevolence and generosity.

CARING FOR YOUR SEA GLASS JEWELRY
It's best to keep your jewelry dry and to avoid all chemicals, including those found in hair sprays and perfumes, soaps, lotions, etc. To polish and clean your jewelry, be sure to use only a treated cloth. Avoid dipping or using any silver cleaners or creams. Simply gently rub the silver/metal part of your bracelet with your cloth and avoid rubbing the stone settings. There is no need to worry if you accidentally rub/hit a stone with the cloth – just be sure to focus on the metal. With proper care of your handmade jewelry and bracelets, you are sure to have your jewelry last a lifetime

I have done my best to depict the color of this sea glass accurately however color may vary from screen to screen.
