order ZIGGY & JASMINE - New Age Hippy Dolls
These two dolls are hand knitted, and hand stitched entirely (by Me).
They are handmade, using new wool and polyester fibre, with new polyester fibre fill for stuffing.
I have embellished both dolls with little pieces of vintage jewellery.
Ziggy's white Kaftan is hand embroidered with swirls of colour on the front. They both have a hand-embroidered Peace Sign on the back of their jackets.
Jasmine has a hand-knotted fringed jacket - in purple of course, and she is wearing a cross-body (pale purple/lavender) bag.
They both are wearing hand-plaited headbands, plus Jasmine has hand-knitted flowers in her golden hair.
The last photo shows Jasmine's lacy, one-piece pants-suit (I took this photo before she was finished).
Ziggy's Kaftan is closed with exquisite little sun-face buttons.
I am selling these two dolls as a set of 2. They are a couple and would be most unhappy should they ever be separated from each other.

Ziggy and Jasmine are "New Age" Hippies. They are not your typical 60's hippies, more your latter day, Bohemian Hippy.
They live in a Yurt, in a commune, just south of Byron Bay and make their living by selling their vegetables and a few "herbs and spices" in the local markets.
Jasmine also likes to sell her beads and other hippy clothing, that she hand-sews herself, later in the evening after a successful day at the markets.

These two Art Dolls ARE NOT TOYS. Please do not give to young children, as they will not take rough play.
The eyes are safety eyes but could still pose a choking threat to young children. Also, the jewellery/buttons, etc, are not suitable for use as a play toy.
Ziggy and Jasmine would much prefer to sit on a shelf or a comfy chair in your 'Good Room', out of harm's way, and keep you company throughout the day.
