The nature of vintage

All of our glassware undergoes careful selection to ensure the highest quality product - both visually and audibly. However, vintage and estate items will generally display signs of character and minor wear consistent with their age and use or due to their hand-made nature.

Any significant flaws will be mentioned in the listing or through photography. We will never sell chipped or cracked glassware.

All vintage items are sold as is and all questions are welcome prior to purchase.

Caring for your vintage glass

With a little extra love and care, your vintage glass will look beautiful for many years to come.

• Handwash with a mild dishwashing liquid and warm water
• Take care to minimize sudden changes in temperature
• Vintage glass is not microwave safe

Shipping

• International shipping - please contact us. We may be able to ship to your country.
• Packaging - All items are thoroughly wrapped and shipped in a heavy duty double-wall box. We are passionate about sustainability! All of our packaging materials are recyclable.
• Combined shipping discounts - All savings from combined shipping on multiple purchases will be reimbursed after shipping.
• In extreme hot and cold weather, allow several hours for the package to come to room temperature (acclimate) before opening the box. Vintage glass, in addition to not being able to withstand microwave ovens -ahem- hates sudden changes in temperature.
• Insurance - Insurance is provided, and factored into the shipping charge.

DAMAGE

We do our best to protect and insure every shipment but unfortunately accidents do happen. If your package arrives with obvious damage to the packaging, please photograph the package and the mailing label prior to opening it and save the box and all packing material. Once opened, inspect the items for damage, photograph any damage and contact us as soon as you can, or at most within 5 days of receipt of the package. We will provide you with either replacements, a full refund, or a partial refund (depending on the extent of the damage), once you have provided us with the photographs, completed any required affidavits, and/or brought the package to your local post office for inspection, which may be required for processing of the insurance claim.

LOSS

If your package is not received and has not been marked as delivered, please contact us so we can contact the post office to track its whereabouts and begin the insurance claim application. We will provide you with a full refund, including shipping, once you have completed the affidavit required for processing the insurance claim. There may be a delay in providing you a refund until such time as the post office deems the package lost. Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, we can no longer be responsible for it nor provide a refund if it has been stolen.

RETURNS FOR INCORRECT ADDRESS

We only ship to the purchaser's confirmed Etsy or Paypal shipping address. In the event that a package is returned due to an incorrect address being provided by the purchaser, a refund, net of all shipping fees incurred by us including any additional postal service charges, will be given once the item is returned to us in undamaged condition.

If you request that the item be re-shipped to you once it has been returned to us, there will be additional shipping costs that will need to be paid by you prior to the item being re-shipped.

REFUSED OR UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES

If a purchaser refuses delivery of a package or does not collect the package when notified by the postal service that the package is available for pick-up at a postal station, a refund, net of all shipping fees incurred by us including any additional postal service charges will be given once the item is returned to us in undamaged condition.
