Hampsfell, order Cartmel - original linoprint

Hampsfell sits above Cartmel and Grange-Over-Sands in the Lake District.

This print is one of a series of nine 'aerials'. These semi-abstract views are at once a kind of aerial mapping but more importantly the hope is that through the patterns, rhythms and colours in the print they convey a sense of place and space.

The image is: -

- a 4 colour Linoprint in a limited Edition of 8
- Each print is hand signed and numbered
- The image is approx. 35 x 35 cm (14” x 14”) on a larger piece of 220g Fabriano Rosaspina acid free printing paper
- Printed with with oil based relief printing inks
- The print is sold UNFRAMED
- The print will be shipped to you rolled in a cardboard tube.

My prints are made using a order reduction process. After the first colour is printed the same plate is cut again and used to print a different colour over the original – the process is repeated, as many times as there are colours. These prints are therefore ‘limited editions' in the truest sense as the process destroys the plate.
