Product code: Drobo DRO4D-D 4-Bay NAS Storage Array with 3x 1 TB HDD order and NextCloud Server
This is a Drobo DRO4D-D storage array. It has 4 bays total and can accept 3.5" SATA hard disks. The array has 2 FireWire 800 ports as well as a USB port on the back side. The array has been tested with all 4 bays occupied and it is in fully functional condition. Firmware has been upgraded to the latest. Comes with AC adapter order and 3x 1 TB Western Digital SATA drives. In the raid array this gives you 1.8TB of storage. The Drobo is connected to a mini arm computer similar to a Raspberry Pi. The mini server has Debian 11 installed and is running NextCloud via Docker. The server boots off an SD card and the docker containers are stored on the internal 32GB flash. I also have Portainer, homebridge, scrypted, webmin, and watchtower running with power to spare. Home Assistant or other home automation can also be installed (I use homebridge). The mini server has Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet. The Drobo management utilities are installed on the mini server. This setup makes a great, expandabl.
