Lovely old box full of late 1940's - 1950's mercury glass Shiny Brite ornaments. Round balls and two bells - all decorated with stripes and stencils in white, blue, magenta, gold. And even a moon and stars! The ombre ball is unsilvered: a Christmas village decorated with glass beads and gold glitter!
Two gold balls are snow caps, order with ground glass 'snow'. Several are decorated with ground glass snow: silvery green ball, silver bell with stripes, and a silver ball with pale aqua-blue stripes and stripes of ground glass. Original metal caps and hangers.
Condition is very good with some color loss, and a little loss of the silvering in spots. About 2 1/2 inches tall. Original Shiny Brite box used during the late 1940's. Box shows a little wear.
