On tabletop, bedside or shelf, this beautiful figurine of the Madonna and Child bespeaks Our Blessed Mother's tender and sacrificial love. Our Lady, Christ's first teacher, is showing the Infant Christ a spray of bitter herbs. The Infant Christ is reaching out to accept the bitter herbs, symbolizing His passion and death for the price of our salvation.
