Please give at least a week for your product to be delivered. If your plant is delayed and arrives damaged, you must provide me with several detailed photos of the damage within 24 hours to place a claim (please see the shipping details section of the item description for more details)! I also highly recommend including one of the following with your purchase to best protect your plant in case of delay if temperatures in your area are predicted to fall below 32 degrees (these can be found as a listing in the 'shipping add-on' category in my shop):

-Winter weather packaging (combines heat pack and thermal wrap at a discounted rate)

Philodendron Billietiae 'Billie' well rooted plants in 4" nursery pots. Most roots are bursting out of the bottom of the pots! Plants are very healthy and actively growing! The plant you select will be the exact plant you receive. Please review all photos of the plant you select before purchasing.

Plant care:

These plants require bright, indirect light for most of the day. These plants should not be left in direct sun all day. These philodendrons like extra humidity and bright light to keep their color. I am currently growing under grow lights 12 hours a day. Allow plant to dry between watering. These plants are currently potted in perlite to avoid root rot during shipping. It is very easily to transition from perlite to any other growing medium. I would recommend waiting at least two weeks post arrival before transitioning.


ATTENTION TO THOSE ORDERING FROM CALIFORNIA: Because I reside in the the state of Pennsylvania and there is an active Japanese Beetle population in this state, we are considered a state under quarantine. Per the state of California's Department of Agriculture regulations, each package that I ship to California must contain a domestic phytosanitary certificate, and all plants must be inspected and shipped bare root. This applies to ALL PLANTS. The Department of Agriculture inspects all live plant material shipping into the state. This means that all live plant material packages are stopped, opened, and inspected before arriving to you. I pack plants in the best way for this process, however, I CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE for damages done as a result of this process, as the Department of Agriculture will unwrap the plant in its entirety to inspect. Please be aware of this when purchasing a plant from my shop if you reside in California. Please also be aware that this process could slightly delay the arrival of your plant. I will NOT ship plants to California that cannot be shipped bare root safely. If you reside in California and purchase a plant from my shop that cannot be bare rooted safety, I will need to cancel the transaction. Thank you for your understanding through this process.

Shipping details:

Plants will be shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. This plant will ship in its pot to avoid any additional shipping stress. Some leaf yellowing, curling, crumpling or droppage is normal post shipping, as shipping is very stressful for plants. Please note that it could be 7-14 days until a plant ships, depending on conditions as well as the status of the plant (if a plant was just watered, it will need to dry before shipping). If you have a specific date you would like a plant to be shipped, please reach out! If you would like to a request a different shipping date, I require at least 24 hours notice prior to scheduled date. Please make sure you are home to receive the plant at time of delivery and unbox immediately. Also please be aware of your weather conditions when purchasing, and I recommend adding a 72 hour heat pack and/or thermal wrap to your order if temperatures in your area will be below 40 degrees. I cannot be responsible for shipping damages done as a result of weather conditions, so please be aware of your weather when purchasing. Each plant will be protected with a layer of poly fil and packing paper. The plant will be secured to the inside of the box to avoid any shaking during shipping.

All plants ship USPS priority with $100 USPS insurance that covers shipping delays or handling damages. I pack all plants thoughtfully and exactly how I would want to receive them myself. Unfortunately, shipping is out of my control, and once a plant leaves my care I cannot be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of USPS handling or delayed packages. Damages as a result of USPS are covered under insurance and I am happy to walk you through the process of placing an insurance claim. Please note this must be completed within 24 hours.

*****NEW USPS POLICY UPDATE!!!!!!******* Please be aware that you MUST KEEP YOUR DAMAGED ITEM to show proof of damage to your local USPS to place an insurance claim. This is a new policy. A refund will not be provided without proof of damage brought to your local USPS hub within a certain timeframe (USPS will send a letter providing you with more info after placing a claim on USPS.com). I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this process!

Refund policy:
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. A refund will NOT include shipping, as this is a separate cost. Refunds will ONLY be considered if you provide an UNBOXING VIDEO and send it to me within 24 HOURS of arrival. Unboxing videos can be sent my email: emilysgreenhouse1 [!at] gmail.com. Please send me a message alerting me if you are sending a video. All plants are inspected, cleaned, and treated before they leave my care. However, accidents do happen and pests are a reality. If your plant shows up with pests, a full refund will be issued order provided that the plant is shipped back to me in the condition it was sent. By purchasing a plant, you are in agreement to all terms written above.
