Photos scarcely do justice to the beguiling beauty of this stunning c. early 1960s deep teal green/blue hued velvet ladies' jacket.
Made from soft, study, medium to heavyweight high-quality velvet, this gorgeous vintage jacket is a sight to behold and joy to wear.
It is fully lined in a similar hued satiny feeling fabric, does up on the front with two matching velvet-covered buttons, has lovely cuffs at the end of the sleeves, includes a terrific shawl-y looking collar, and stars a wonderfully charming matching flower (likely a rose) at the center of the collar. There are no pockets anywhere on this jacket.
A perfect jacket for spring, fall, and perhaps even winter (though, depending on whereabouts in the world you live, you may need a heavier overcoat on top of this jacket and/or some warm layers underneath it), this velvet beauty is chic and glamorous, sophisticated and awesomely emblematic of the styles that were popular when it was created.
Made by a British company called Entrx, this order superb vintage women's velvet jacket is in great shape, is as comfy (I found) as a cloud to wear, does a good job of keeping you warm, and is a show-stopping mid-century piece that is bound to garner oodles of compliments.
**PLEASE NOTE** The true colour of this enchanting vintage velvet jacket is a touch more green toned (and vibrant) in person than it appears here in these iPhone photos, which were taken under artificial (indoor) light.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions about, or require additional photos of this, vintage garment. My name is Autumn, and I am always here to be of assistance.
