ABOUT THE ARTIST: Kiev artist Bezugly Daniil Ivanovich Born on December 23 (10?), 1914 on the Ivanivtsy farm (now the Poltava region). Graduated from: Kiev Art College (1934), Kiev Art Institute (1942). Teachers by profession - P. Kotov, K. Trokhimenko, S. Grigoriev, K. Eleva. He worked in the field of easel painting. Member of the National Union of Artists (1943). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1972). Member of the CPSU. Awarded with medals and a Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1945, all-union since 1942, foreign since 1958 (in Poland, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Sweden), personal - Kiev, 1954, 1958, 1967. Died January 29, 1977 in Kiev.
