Hand-woven bag for laptop or documents up to 18 inches that cheers up any office or university everyday life. The colourful composition and the way of production, handwoven like a patchwork carpet, are a special eye-catcher. These patchwork carpet accessories were created from Kalima's Zero Waste project. The hand-held printing order company Kalima manufactures the fabrics for their clothing themselves, in order to use the remnants of these high-quality fabrics in a meaningful way, we experimented with different techniques. Hand weaving is exactly in the sense of Kalima. In Gandi's words: " .... in which we help the micro-enterprises. (...) Only that alone can help the disadvantaged millions. They could put their creativity and ingenuity into practice, and countless unemployed young people would find employment. All the energy that is now being lost would be used....." (Village Industries- Village Production by M.K. Gandhi, August 1921) Material: Fabric residues handwoven according to fleckerlteppich style, inner lining cotton with 2 attached pocket and a zippered bag. On the outside, the bag is closed with a sturdy zipper to provide optimal security and protection for your laptop or notebook. Size: Outside: Diagonal: 49 cm, Width:42 cm, Height:32 cm Depth 4 cm Manufacture: Strips are cut from fabric residues and woven by hand with the help of a wooden loom with contrast ingesum and colorful. This patchwork carpet is the basis of the Kalima bags. Due to this production, the patterns and colors are different, but correspond to the same style. Thus, they have an absolute unique piece. The colors have been divided into color groups, so they can vary somewhat from the imaging.
