These beautiful ponderosa pines stood on either side of the trail like sentinels.
They shaded the foreground area grasses and me.
I painted this small painting en plein air, beside Miller Creek.

The "Ponderosa Pines", and Miller Creek, are located in the White River Forest.

Miller Creek, is located in Northwest, Colorado. It weaves in and out of the forest until it reaches order the White River.
I love painting here because the sound of the the stream and the breeze blowing through the pines, is so relaxing.

This painting is mounted in an off white mat and will fit into a 11" x 14" frame.
