These slices are our premium slices with minimal to no blemish, perfect for laser engravers and crafting with sensitive finished products that need a crisp clean look. The thumbnail photos illustrate quite well the possible blemishes to expect in our "Quality" slices should the slices have any blemishes on them at all.

ENGRAVER/PREMIUM GRADE: This is our best quality and is recommended for laser engravers with sensitive designs or for the wedding planner that wants a clean crisp disc. The flaws are limited on these slices, they may or may not contain blemishes but if they do the blemish that will not exceed a pencil eraser size. One blemish of this size per disc would be the maximum that we would allow. Other blemishes that you may expect to be on our Premium cut would be pigmentation spotting the size of a pen head, we allow up to 4 of that size per slice. PLEASE NOTE ON OUR PREMIUM SLICES THAT ONLY ONE SIDE OF A DISC NEEDS TO MEET THIS CRITERIA TO BE CONSIDERED PREMIUM AS MOST TIMES ONLY ONE SIDE IS SEEN IN THE END PRODUCT OF PRODUCTION. All of our coasters are dried and lightly sanded. We have great bark retention and little to no warping.

WE OFFER 3 DIFFERENT QUALITY OF SLICES:

We have 3 different grades of slices to meet your individual needs and budget: Regardless of which grade you desire you can rest assure all of our slices have the same processing care from drying to sanding to drilling.

1.ECONOMY GRADE: This grade may or may have large dark pigmentations and may even have multiple spots; it simply depends on the log that is being cut for the order. This grade is perfect for painting and other crafts. The natural pigmentation does not affect function of wood.

2.STANDARD GRADE: This grade may have smaller spotting or it may not. The spotting on it could be as large as a dime but depending on the design should not interfere with woodburing or laser engraving designs. Ideal for more sensitive crafting.

3.ENGRAVER/PREMIUM GRADE: This is our best quality and is recommended for laser engravers with sensitive designs or for the wedding planner that wants a clean crisp disc.
