The black felt hats sometimes require painting over the burned lines on them because the burned designs can show up very subtle, we can discuss in detail what type of color of painting you'd like or if you'd like to leave it just burnt. These black hats also look beautiful without being painted on, the black burns on the hat create a really gorgeous subtle design.

Also something to note, if you're excited about the color of the hat and potential for custom hat burning, do not let the style of the hat band attached to the hat keep you from purchasing. Hat bands can be easily removed and replaced by you or professionally! One thing that I love about my wide brim hats is the ability to customize your hat further by purchasing different hat bands to go with different outfits. So don't let order the style or color of the hat band turn you off, you can always swap those for something new!
