Beautifully Timeworn,expected slight rusting to some of the metal elements but the Chrome still shiny and bright on top.There is Coffee Residue to the drawer (which smells divine) and we believe this is still fully functional we just have not had time to test it! Beautifu Vintage piece with lots of Character and Charm

Peter Dienes began his Coffee Grinder manufacturing company in Remscheid ( Germany ) in 1869. After his death in 1899, his sons, Friedrich and Peter Gottlieb, took over and developed the business. It closed its' doors in 1962. Coffee Grinders from this Manufacturer are highly Collectable and sought after...

Peter Dienes was, in his time, considered the inventor of the best grinding system with his Solida ball mechanism ( Solida Kugal Werk ) 1 . Its leaders had a great imagination and a lot of inventiveness, given the diversity of models and materials used. The company sold mills throughout Europe (including the UK ), Canada and the United States .
