This maxi skirt is about as MOD as it gets! The amazing, geometric print in bright orange with shades of brown is the epitome of all things groovy order in "the summer of love." Yes, this one's from the late '60s or possibly early '70s and they don't make 'em like this anymore. That said, this one's been altered from the way they did make it -- ie: it's been altered to a larger size, from what was originally a typically tiny size, as vintage garments of the era were definitely pretty small. The waistband's been removed along with the darts, creating this nice, larger size skirt. It's the perfect item to pair with a simple tank top for a "custom" maxi dress. Great for any occasion requiring some extra pizazz. Tiki Oasis anyone?! This one's perfect. You can toss it in your beach bag or pool tote as it also makes the perfect swimsuit cover up to wear with a solid color suit. Very good vintage condition but has been altered, as described above, and the line is visible where a long hem has been let down to its current length. All in all, it's still a wonderful tog to turn heads! All cotton textured barkcloth with white plastic buttons down the front. Shape is a slim A-line.
