Mezuzah Case, Home Decor, Jewish Wedding gift, Judaica Gift, Yemenite Filigree Art, Sterling Silver 925, Handmade order In Israel, Model035
A mezuzah is a piece of parchment called a klaf contained in a decorative case.
A mezuzah is a piece of parchment called a klaf contained in a decorative case and inscribed with specific Hebrew verses from the Torah. These verses consist of the Jewish prayer "Shema Yisrael". In mainstream Rabbinic Judaism, a mezuzah is affixed to the doorpost of Jewish homes to fulfill the mitzvah (Biblical commandment).
The klaf parchment is prepared by a qualified scribe ("sofer stam") who has undergone training, both in studying the relevant religious laws, and in the more practical parts.
Designed in the Jewish Yemenite filigree/filigran style order.
Delicate lacework of silver wires in and scrolled shapes all over the item make it to a really unique gift.
Useful in any jewish house. Judaica/Jewish gift, also beautiful for display.
