LARGE: Lid is hallmarked, pattern of crystal - Simple Star on bottom, Pineapple around perimeter. Inside the cut crystal base is R10G31 as a registration mark.
The hallmark identifies R&CO as the silversmith; the Crown identifies Sheffield, England as the location of the silversmith, the Lion Passant certifies the silver quality (.925) and the Date Letter “r” identifies 1909 as the date of manufacture.
