This heavy brass bill or paper clip bears a British Registry mark on the reverse, but the mark is too rubbed to be read accurately. Traces of the original lacquer finish remain on the brass face. The back of the clip is cast iron and has a hole for hanging. The spring works well but it appears that the original retaining pin has been replaced with a bent nail.
