Product code: THREE Mellon Form Graniteware Mold order Pudding Jello Lalance Grosjean Early 1900s Antique Vintage Kitchen Item Agateware 8020

THREE Antique or older Vintage melon form food molds, 2 with the logo of Lalance & Grosjean Mfg Co. (about 1863/70 - 1955) Agate Ware and Extra Agate on the side, one in blue and one in brown as part of the agate coating.

Pressed steel with coating. Older versions, not a post 1970s reproduction which are often seen as being sold as old. I will be downsizing my collection (all pre WWII) so keep watch here for more good, old pieces.

Seamed construction both riveted and soldered bases, soldered wire bail handles. c 1870-1920s.

Large size mold is about 9 1/2'' x 7 1/8'' at the middle flair and about 4 1/4'' tall. Small molds are 7 1/2'' x 5 1/2'' x 3 1/2'' and 7 1/2'' x 5 3/4'' x about 3 1/2'' (L&G). The small unsigned mold is stamped 150 on the bottom.

The smaller L&G has most of the original tin coating in the base. It also has glaze on the entire top where most molds don't have the glaze at the overlap of the joint. Base joint is riveted. This one has the brown logo of Extra Agate / Nickel Steel Ware.

Very good condition to all three. Large has a chip at the top as shown, some line wear also at the top but not through to the steel. Inside has wear and rust around the skirt joint edge and there is some light surface rust on order the inside of the base.
Small signed has a chip toward an end and a small flake above the logo. Light wear along flair of skirt. A few very small glaze dings inside, only one goes to the steel.
Small unsigned several small nicks to the glaze at one end, wear inside with steel showing on several ribs and light surface rust. Some wrinkles to skirt. This mold is heavier than the other small mold.

Postage is for WEST Coast delivery from New Hampshire. EAST Coast buyer will be refunded overage to nearest dollar.
