These Black Velvet Ceramic Dinner Plates are new in my shop.

This is yet another new line of plates.

I have come to discover that this glaze behaves very differently on different black clays. That is what is so exciting about creating in clay.

The brown glaze receives a new velvety effect on this black clay making the plates very elegant.

These plates come as a set of three. However, if you would like a single or two plates, that is definitely possible. Ask me for the price.

I will be very happy to make more and to add side plates and bowls if you would like a full set. In actual fact the Side Plate and Mug can already be seen in my shop. There is another side plate and 2 small tumblers on the way. So, what do you think? ...

These plates are in production as we speak and I will be making at least two unless you would like more. I will also be making other plates sets with different colors. Of course these can be made according to your wishes.

This is the first part of my 4 seasons pieces and represents the summer colors. In my shop you can see the greens of spring and the browns of fall and winter. There will be more in my shop in the coming months.

My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).

It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.

It is dishwasher safe.

If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.

I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
