Bookends Pair Scarf Dance 1920 Art Deco Cast Iron
A pair of Art Deco style bookends from 1920. This PAIR features a nude lady with a scarf. She is dancing. So this pair is called, logically, "Scarf Dance."
Each bookend is approximately 6.7" tall, 4" wide, 2.5" deep. They were made in the USA by an unidentified company collectors often refer to as Foundry X-2.
They are made of solid cast iron and have remnants of their original bronze plating. Each is numbered '15' on the back. Total order weight for the pair is 5 pounds.
Age-appropriate wear, no damage. They have not been cleaned or polished (at least, not by me). Brown padding on the bases.
Shoppers outside the USA, please contact me for a shipping price. Thank you.
