Vintage Postmodern Black & White Leifheit Columbus Thermal Carafe Pitcher

A playful example of postmodern order design, this thermos comes in a pod-shaped plastic finish and a copper-lined interior for optimal temperature retention. It can be used to keep one's preferred beverage, whether it be coffee, yerba or tea, nice and hot. Back in the 1980s it was quite a breakthrough in terms of mainstream design, making it a highly sought after piece today.

Origin: made in West Germany by Leifheit Vivatherm. Embossed on the bottom.
Condition: in good vintage shape. Only minimal surface scratches and small marks or stains on the pitcher's outer surfaces, while the inner copper lining remains in pristine condition.
