Order US Navy Silverplate Wardroom Serving Tray Rope Edge Engraved Fouled Anchor USN

Super cool, rare 1940's US Navy silverplate serving tray. This would have been for serving in the wardroom, the mess cabin where naval officers ate. It has a rope edge and an engraved USN and fouled anchor logo in center of tray. The tray measures 12 1/8ths inches x 8 7/8ths inches. It is marked on the back Sf&co 1740 order 12. Made by Friedman Silver Co Inc Brooklyn NY. Also marked WR-4. It needs a polish, has some pitting and some minor scratches. Please see all pictures and please let me know if you have any questions.
