Condition:
The front cover has numerous tiny cloth tears; heavy staining to the back cover; damaged corners and damaged top/bottom edges of the spine. Tight binding with no loose pages - all issues are securely intact. For the most part the pages are in very good condition - mostly clean with occasional light foxing and some heavy tanning to some random pages. A previous owner has written a topic of interest with its corresponding page number on the pastedowns and on a blank end paper order (heavy writing on the blank end paper) - for example "407 for pinched hoof in horse," "322 for hydrophobia." Light stain along the outer edge of a front end paper. The first Index page has a 1" tear the outer edge. Overall an excellent reading copy, but fair condition only because of the condition of the covers/spine.
