If you love hand hooked rugs with a primitive or antique look, then you have found the right place. Northwest Folk Design patterns are by Me, Marijo Taylor. I was in the mood to hook a big rug and wanted it to be a geometric, yet I was concerned that I might lose interest if I didn't add some other motif, hence the tulips. My original plan was to use only strips that had already been cut that were in my stash, of course, I had to add a few new ones.
This is a fun rug to hook! Tulip Geometric is big, yet it doesn't seem so because you have each little section that you focus on as you hook. Before you know it, you are finished and have a good size rug for your home!
The pattern measures as a 39" x 42". It is printed on primitive linen, with edges zigzagged, and a border of 3 1/2" or more. Each pattern comes with a photo of the full rug and a close-up photo to help in color planning.
