Signed Taxco Mexico Designer Brooch Pendant Huge Mexican Jade Serpentine 925 Sterling Silver & Copper Overlay Ca 1960s order SALE
This superb signed Mexican brooch pendant dates to the 1950s-60s and is signed.
This superb signed Mexican brooch pendant dates to the 1950s-60s and is signed by the artist from Taxco order. It weighs about 47 grams and is about 2.25" in diameter.
The brooch is beautifully hand crafted with a sunburst type of design in copper overlay with a stunning center green stone often referred to as "Mexican jade." More accurately, this brooch is likely made with serpentine stone, still a real stone, of course. It's hand carved and has a lovely pattern which complements the silver and copper work.
Original and complete and free of damages, repairs, or any modifications, the brooch is in very good vintage used condition showing typical wear. If held to the side you can see minimal slight bends to the sides, and I mention this for the sake of thoroughness. Any wear on this in NO WAY effects its overall look, functionality, or value.
