We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage Lu Ann Simms hard plastic doll made by Horseman and order dating back to 1953. She measures 18" tall and she is a walker with her walking mechanism working perfectly She has an open mouth with four teeth and a felt tongue. She has good coloring with dark red painted lips, cheek blush, long painted lower lashes, smoky shadow and delicately painted brows. She has big blue sleep eyes that open and close easily with rooted lashes full and intact. Her long black hair is in a pony tail in the back with full front bangs. She wears her original dress with short puff sleeves in a yellow cotton pique with green rick rack trim and a ribbon accent at her waist and attached panties, a black ribbon necklace at her neck with a flower in the front and she has a yellow ribbon in her hair, white socks and replacement white vinyl shoes. There is a rust stain on the front of her bodice. The doll is quite lovely, is in good condition and comes to you from a SMOKE FREE home. Ms. Simms was a singing star in the 1950's and a regular on the hugely popular Arthur Godfrey television show.
