Original Watercolor Painting by Artist Cecy Turner 0f Landscape with Lake or Bayou and Trees in Autumn - 16 by 20 Wall Art Ready order to Frame

This is an original watercolor painting on watercolor board depicting a lake or bayou scene in Autumn. Most of the leaves have fallen from the trees, and there is a mist coming up from the water in the background. The painting is likely set in East Texas or Louisiana. This is an early work from the 1970's by Texas artist Cecy Turner. She signed this artwork with the name Cecy Turner Curl, which is the name she was using at the time. The painting is matted with a slim brownish gray inner mat and wide ivory outer mat, and is ready to frame in a standard 16 inch by 20 inch frame. The frames pictured are not included.

Cecy Turner is still an active painter, and her paintings are sold by several galleries. She studied art at Vanderbilt University and the University of North Texas, and has been painting since the 1970's. She has won numerous awards for her paintings.
