This wonderful antique ironstone milk pitcher was created to sell to raise money for Dr. Frederick Cook's Canadian arctic exploration. He sold these at his lecture tour of 1893-94.
They came in two designs, one with an image of an Inuit boy and this one with Clara / Mikok, an Inuit girl with sled dog pups.
It stands 7" tall, 5" in diameter at the base, and 7" across--from spout tip to handle edge.
It is order in very good condition with no chips or cracks but it does have surface crazing (normal with this piece's age) and loss of some of the gold detail. See all pictures for you best idea of condition.
