Vintage Portieux Vallerysthal France Opaline Milk Glass Squirrel Covered Dish. Heavy pressed opaline milk glass covered box trinket dish. Ornate footed base, fern order accents & ribbed body. Top has scalloped rim, ribbed texture and topped with a squirrel with a nut finial top. Roughly 5” high x 5 1/2”across x 3 3/4”deep Very good vintage condition. Pretty translucence on the edges. Has flaws/imperfections - Some rough edges. The feet have excess glass from pressing and has a bit of a wobble. There are lines/seams in the glass on the base on opposite top edges. Difficult to see in photos & can't be seen with lid on.
