"Włodzimierz Kotkowski (born July 7, 1942 in Łódź , died June 22, 2011 in Krakow ) - Polish graphic artist, teacher. Professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and the University of Rzeszów . Participant of about 150 exhibitions."
"As a graphic designer, prof. Włodzimierz Kotkowski achieved international success and recognition. In 1971 he was awarded an honorary medal at the 5th International Contemporary Exslibris Biennale in Malbork . In 1979, an honorary medal at the International Biennial of Small Graphic Forms in Łódź. In 1980, a medal at the International Graphic Biennale, Frechen, Germany. In 1993, a special prize in the "Premio Biella" International Graphic Competition, Biella, Italy. In 1994, the regulatory award at the Polish Print Triennial in Katowice. In 1994, a distinction in the National Graphic Competition in Łódź. In 1995, the regulatory award at the International Triennial "Mezzotinta 95" in Gdańsk"
