When I think mid-century party dress I think of Emma Domb. The colors and details are always terrific and this is no exception. Color is a cross between a seafoam green and baby-blue plus the lace overlay which is an ivory. The style pegs it as a late 50's early 60's piece as the skirt isn't as that full (however this is pictured with one crinoline that is goes full above the knees). Cut with a simple crew neck and short sleeve bodice and a-line skirt. Beautiful mid-section with a ribbon satin bow and light ruching of the lace (won't be so droopy on an actual body). Fit up the back with a covered metal zipper and hook and eye. Fabric is an acetate with an ivory overlay.
